I love 3D
From the very first cube I couldn't animate, to the most recent Houdini simulation that I still think I could improve, it's always been so fun, so rewarding.
C4D, REDSHIFT, AND SLOWLY ADDING HOUDINI
Just a Game
Finding the solution to a puzzle is so satisfying. Some days it feels like playing a video game.
CONTROL
I used to work in film/TV productions, and I remember how random problems like bad weather, traffic, and, of course, budget affected the final piece. I'm glad I shifted to motion design, where a story can be told with so few resources.
MIXING TOOLS
I never thought I'd move away from C4D, but after using Houdini, I really understand its power and level of control. For now, I use it mostly for simulations. I'm still finishing everything in C4D.
Personal Projects
The best part of being a freelancer is having time to work on my own ideas. Find an effect I want to learn, match it with a concept, and have fun staying away from advertising.
